Mindfulness techniques are a set of useful mental skills that can build capacity through the neuroplasticity of the brain’s networks. When we practice mindfulness, we help train the neural attention networks which enhance focus, clarity, and attention.

Internationally, research is being done on the effects of mindfulness techniques on the body. These techniques have a resoundingly positive impact on our mental, emotional, and physical health. Mindfulness is quickly becoming the foundation of many physical and psychological therapies impacting recovery of anxiety, stress, physical injury and overall health. As neuroscience and medicine continue to research and image the brain, we are learning the intricacies of cognition, learning, and emotion. Building new synapses and improving how neural connections travel from both the brain to body and body to brain impacts our learning, recovery from injury and overall state of health and well-being.
